Carol_ShedlinCarol Shedlin is just irrepressible. Her charming show in the little room in the back at Don’t Tell Mama took her audience on a trip thru her life starting with the music she danced to as a teenager on into her maturity with remembered songs that followed her thru the excitement of growing up and dating when New York was really exciting,

on to love, the joys and trials of marriage, children, suburbia and a new life back in the city – and always the music that played along, her personal sound-track enhancing the years. Clever director, Aaron Morishita planned the evening so that the audience identified and went happily along on the trip.

Every singer needs a strong musical support system. Carol certainly has that in the duo of musical director/pianist Jon Delfin and bassist David Dunaway.

Carol looked lovely in simple black and diamonds. Long time award winning Bobby Kneeland, the house sound and light artist, made her look even lovelier with exceptional lighting.

This show is playing three more nights: Saturday, November 7th,Dont_Tell_Mama
Monday, November 9th and Monday the 16th of November,
all at 7:00PM at Mama’s. Go see.
