Two NYC Cabaret Debut Showcases

Mac_logoThe Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs, advancing the Art and Business of Live Entertainment, which is designed to heighten public awareness of the field’s contributions and vitality, to honor its creativity, to build its current and future audiences, and to speak out as an influential voice on behalf of MAC members and the industry at large is pleased to present two showcases of debut talent here in NYC. The first Showcase is Thursday, Feb. 25 at The Triad and the second is Thursday, March 4 at Broadway Baby.

Sample the performers who made their NYC cabaret debuts in 2009 in this two-part showcase. Host: Lennie Watts. Musical Director: Clare Cooper.
Featuring Peggy Eason, Kathleen France, Merrill Grant, Christa Justus, Thesa Loving, Erik Sisco, Nesha Ward, Joshua Warr, Chris Yonan.

The MANHATTAN ASSOCIATION OF CABARETS & CLUBS (MAC) was founded in 1983, as an organization of business people in the cabaret industry, comprising club owners, booking agents, managers, journalists & publicists. MAC’s purpose is to advance the art of live entertainment in NYC and to serve as an advocate for those in the cabaret business.
